“Money makes the world go round.” How untrue this statement is! Money cannot buy us everything.

Money cannot buy us true friendship. There are some people who claim to be friends. Seeing that you are rich, they hope to reap the benefits of hanging out with you, the rich friend. Then, when you get into trouble, these ‘friends’ will leave you. They will  jump the sinking boat and find a new ship to board. Hence, money cannot buy you friends that will stick with you through thick and thin.

Money also cannot buy you love or kinship. Essentially, you cannot buy a family. The family you have is bonded by blood. Even if you are able buy a family, you would not feel as close to them, because they are bought with money.

Money cannot buy   love. There are too many instances of women cheating men of money with promises of love. Mistresses cheating their men of money before running away. Money also cannot buy the love you get from your parents, siblimgs and relatives.

Hence, while money can buy you much material wealth, it cannot buy you the love or friendship that is important. Even if you do not have money, you would have a family and friends to stick with you and help you pull through difficult times. Likewise, you could be a filthy rich man all alone in the world, with no one to spend your wealth with.
